I think as the series continues I will grow to love him. I really like Jamie! In the first book I liked him, and in this book he grew on me even more. I won't say much more, as it will give away the story. In I Even Funnier, Jamie is preparing for the semi-finals in Las Vegas for The Planet's Funniest Kid Comic Contest, trying to ace his exams and trying to find his way through the obstacles in middle-school. I was worried that the I Funny books would be too "middle-grade" with immature humour and no depth, but I surprisingly enjoyed it! And in my opinion, the sequel to I Funny, I Even Funnier, was even better.
